It takes us by no surprise that Mr. Niceness has gained the reputation as one of the prolific Fashion Designers in Ghana. Judging from his immense contribution to the Fashion industry, Mr. Niceness is seem as one with the latest Fashion style.

In an exclusive one on one interview with BygoneGh.Com, Mr. Niceness reveals to Bygone that, he acquired the name “Mr. Niceness” for his customers that patronize and appreciate his fashion sense and their satisfaction.

Some of the things we chatted about were about how his Fashion career started and what his views are about the Fashion industry, Entertainment, music and Movie industries.

Bygone:
What’s your name, and your brand name (Brief us on how and why you choose that brand name)

Mr. Niceness:

My real name is Prince Charles Quartey, and my brand name is MR. NICENNESS KODLIN, I acquired the name from customers and buyers who find my products nice and attractive, they patronize my style and for that matter, they happen to call me Mr. Niceness. So I choose that as a brand name.

Bygone:
Why did you decide to choose fashion designing as a career?

Mr. Niceness:

I did because I had zeal and passion for fashion. I mean I love everything about fashion

Bygone:

The designs you create are no doubt good enough, but who and which things were your inspiration while creating such designs?

Mr. Niceness:

Great and amazing comments and likes from customers and buyers inspired me to create such designs and improve upon my works to make them serve right and pleasant to my customers and buyers.

Bygone:
When did you first realize you wanted to pursue a career as a designer?

Mr. Niceness:
I realized that right from infantry because I like fashion a lot

Bygone:
What are some of the major challenges as a fashion designer?

Mr. Niceness:
Occupational hazards like using wrong dimensions and not able to accomplish certain works on times are some challenges.

Bygone:
How long have you been in the Fashion Designing Industry?

Mr. Niceness:
I have been in fashion for about 4years this.

Bygone:
How do you stay up to date regarding fashion?

Mr. Niceness:
I do so by following to fashion, buying fashion magazines and also keeping updates with fashionable social media groups, bloggers, channels and pages

Bygone:
Which Ghanaian Celebrity are you looking forward to work with?

Mr. Niceness:
I look up to working with Fuse ODG, Sarkodie, Samini and Kuami Eugene

Bygone:
Being a fashion designer? What kind of clothes will you prefer during an interview?

Mr. Niceness:
Italian fabric is the best for me

Bygone:
What is your greatest Achievement in Fashion and out of Fashion?

Mr. Niceness:
Fashion has taken me to places I never taught I will be there and also met lot of great people with great personalities. That alone is a great achievement for me and I will appreciate God for this opportunity.

Bygone:
Since you’re quite popular, how do you handle the fame? I mean the Girls that come along with it.

Mr. Niceness:
I don’t look towards girls who come my way. All I know is that, you are my clients and I styling you is the most important thing to me, that’s all please

Bygone:
Are you in a relationship? If yes, how long have you been dating or marriage? If not then when?

Mr. Niceness:
No please, I have to focus on my work and my brand high it move to the world

Bygone:
If you could go back and tell yourself one thing before beginning your career what would it be?

Mr. Niceness:
Hard work breaks no bones so better work hard.

Bygone:
According to you, who is the most stylish celebrity?

Mr. Niceness:
Fuse ODG, King Sark and Okyeame Kwame

Bygone:
Name few of your favorite fashion writers, designers, stylists, photographers and bloggers

Mr. Niceness:
Elikem kumodzi and Kofi Asante. with the photographers will mention chocolate shoot it. Also with the bloggers I know BygoneGh and few bloggers

Bygone:
Are you passionate about something apart from fashion?

Mr. Niceness:
Yeah I also do love singing.

Bygone:
What role do you think social media plays in fashion today?

Mr. Niceness:
For me I would say social media plays a huge role. If I should rank according to percentage I would say it plays 85% of the role.

Bygone:
How do you want women to feel when wearing your clothes?

Mr. Niceness:
I want them to feel gorgeous, elegant and unique among all others.

Bygone:
There’s so much pressure for designers to come out with their greatest collection season after season. What advice would you give to young designers just starting out and hoping to make it in the industry?

Mr. Niceness:
I would advise them to work hard and stay focused because fame comes as a result of hard work only.
